Child safety standards
This page sets out Rassberry’s published standards for preventing child sexual abuse and exploitation (“CSAE”) in connection with the Rassberry mobile application and related services (together, the “Services”). It is intended to satisfy distributor requirements (including Google Play’s child safety standards for apps in relevant categories) by describing our approach in clear, publicly accessible form. This document is maintained by Rassberry and is not user-editable.
1. Scope and intent
Rassberry is designed as an adults-only service. The Services are not directed at children, and we do not knowingly allow people under 18 to use the app. Our standards below focus specifically on CSAE risk: sexual abuse of children, sexual exploitation of children, grooming, and the distribution or solicitation of child sexual abuse material.
2. Zero tolerance for CSAE
We prohibit any use of the Services that involves or facilitates CSAE, including but not limited to:
- Creating, requesting, offering, distributing, or possessing child sexual abuse material;
- Grooming, sexual solicitation of minors, or sexualised contact with anyone under 18;
- Depicting, describing, or sexualising minors in profiles, messages, media, or links (including fictional or animated content where a reasonable user would understand it as involving minors);
- Using the Services to traffic, recruit, or exploit children;
- Encouraging or coordinating any of the above.
Violations may result in immediate removal of content, permanent account termination, and referral to law enforcement or other competent authorities where we are legally required or where we reasonably believe a child is at risk.
3. Age assurance and product design
We treat Rassberry as 18+ and apply age-related controls and safety measures as described in our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. We investigate credible reports that a user may be under 18 or misrepresenting age and take appropriate action, which may include account closure and reporting where the law requires it.
4. Reporting within Rassberry
Users can report concerns through in-app reporting and safety flows where available, and through our Support hub. For urgent safety issues, email support@rassberry.eu with a clear subject line (for example, “Child safety report”) and as much detail as you can safely provide. We aim to triage serious safety reports promptly during business hours and escalate where needed.
If you believe a child is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency number or the police first; do not rely on email alone for emergencies.
5. Moderation and enforcement
We enforce our Terms of Service and community expectations. Where we become aware of CSAE or credible risk, we may remove content, restrict or terminate accounts, preserve relevant records where permitted by law, and cooperate with authorities. We do not allow the Services to be used to normalise sexual contact with minors or to exchange illegal material.
6. Law enforcement and legal process
Where applicable law requires us to report suspected child sexual abuse or exploitation, or where we receive lawful orders from competent authorities, we cooperate in line with Dutch and EU legal frameworks and international norms. We may provide information to law enforcement when legally compelled or when necessary to protect the vital interests of a person, including a child.
7. Training and review
We review these standards periodically and when our product, policies, or legal obligations change. Material updates will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date. Related policies (including privacy and terms) may be updated separately where needed.
8. Contact for child safety compliance
